I know its important, but im fucking sick of reading about it on here now. Nearly as bad as JAK going on about nothing  or MLANH moaning about no-one liking him!

Can we also talk about something other than sex pests who look like Gene Wilder?

JAK or MLANH? :evil4:

Let's talk about trainers.

There's a shop around the corner from my office that sells fucking lovely Adidas trainers. Superstars in the softest leather I've seen and some others in a strange snakeskin type material.

Not cheap, but neither is getting married.

Dont get me started on trainers,If anyone wants to invest some money start buying the current Adidas tracksuits (the 5 New York ones) and keep them in the boxes,in 10 years they`ll be worth about £200 each. Anything with the Adidas Originals tag is Ltd Ed,and only in shops while stocks last. If i sound like an advert for them its cos i am really into it!

Trainers are one of the most collectable things around, and something that only increase in value. For example how many of you bought a pair of Adidas LA Trainers a couple of years ago? Probably most of you! But you wont find them in the shops now. Just like all the trainers from 20 years ago.

All the kids are running out now buying Forest Hills for £70 cos they're re-issue's of old shoes,Puma Suede and Diadora Borg Elite are also about to re-appear (Borg are gonna retail for about £64.99),yet 3 years ago you could pick them up for £8.99 in The Donnay Shop!

The other thread about New Order tee-shirts was hijacked over this subject because everyone loved the old Fila tops i've got on the link-i bought them 20 years ago for £30 each and hardly wore them, now they're worth 10 times that each minimum.

I'm sick of it too. I don't want to talk about how the Virginia Senate race is likely to fall in the Democrats' favor, giving them control of both houses of Congress. If I was at all interested in talking about it, I'd say it shows that the extreme right wing conservative movement has fallen on its sword through its combintion of corruption and abandonment of its principles of small government and states' rights. No way I wanna talk about that. I'm an really interested in ignoring how much I despire George Bush adn Dick Cheney. Please stop bringing it up!

Oh jeez, I guess by not bringing it up, I did actually bring it up. Sorry 'bout that. Hmmm... Lovely day here in New York... Oh! I chose a new picture and phrase (to the left there).... .... .... I like cats.

If I remember correctly, in the US some years ago some guy tried to rob a pair and ended up killing the security guard.

They're hardly the best trainies of all time, why the fuck he needed to shoot someone to nick them is beyond me

Not the best,no. But they are the most popular Puma trainer. Now,if i can just bring Walker tracksuits back in fashion...

With less than a handful of exceptions, that describes the vast majority of posts here.

Cozzie's posts certainly are far less inane than the "evenin' all," or "I'm drunk" or "I'm a slapper" variety.

Burt, you Anglocentric fool, everyone has its share of inane posts... Plus, did you forget that NOOL was crazy to begin with? :computer3:

LOL... love is blind, Comrade. Just look down the threads. Cozzie has an inane one liner for everything.

(although this wont look so obvious for people in the morning who are reading this, cos others will have posted since)

What the fuck was Hooky doing hob-nobbing with Gene Wilder?! Must've been some celebrity only bash methinks. In Monaco, LA or Paris or summat.

Last night i saw a small spider on the floor near my television set.

I just let it be.

I am thinking of starting a santuary for these and similar beings in my "four remote, remote control holder". It's by the radiator, so will be nice and snug for them. and only a short distance away from the bin. Although, if they feel hungry, i may just carry them.

That said,i'll dig a little deeper. I know a few people...

I'd better get myself over to Japan then

It says W.Rohrl on the front patch. As in Walter Rohrl, the relly driver. I saw a guy in a bright top with the same name on last night.

This Bag has the same name on, in a shop right next to where my office.

Looks like it might be quite rare!

Um! Never seen those before, whats the shop next door called? I've noticed Hooky is wearing the shirt in a lot of photo's. The "Liam Gallagher" thing is something eBay sellers seem to think will help them sell stuff (someone put an Adidas 83-C top on there for £700 buy it now saying there were only 50 of each colour and given away to Oasis,Robbie,Madonna etc. That was bollox-i got all four of them from Selfridges?)

Hanon Shop in Aberdeen. They sell trainers that look good enough to eat.

The shirt's from the Walter Rohrl range. Think he was a 70's rally driver. It came out about 3 years ago, not seen one anywhere for ages.

Erm yeah, just like it says above.
