I love how - about three or four comments in - nearly every thread in these forums gets hijacked by someone making puns. ;)

Some of the puns can brighten up a shit-boring thread,sometimes too. Aswell as fuck them up.

The phrase is 'sarcasm is the lowest form of wit" which, given the sarcastic nature of £50's post, is ironic.

Puns are great. Sarcasm isn't so good, though irony can be amusing.

My apologies - most people hate it.

Personally I think it's great how most threads, once the original topic has been aired, flow beautifully on to other subjects. It's wonderful to see where conversation leads, yet have the ability to chase back to answer that age-old question "How on earth did we get onto this subject?"

Occasionally it gets out of hand, but overall it's a fine quality of this place.

I was going to save the bit about it not being by Oscar Wilde and having a different version of the quote, to show that arguing by Google as 'proof' was not necessarily accurate as you can probably find opposing 'facts' on any subject.
