cafe kafka (which is right around the corner from my hotel) was the best suggestion EVER. I sat in there for hours on end bullshitting and drinking and I had such a good time.

Thank you so much for suggesting the place to me. I was starting to get lonely not speaking the same language but this place really turned my trip around!!

Good stuff, it's just about the only reason I ever go back to Brussels. Stumbled across the place about 5 years ago, wonderful little gaff! You staying at the Novotel Tour Noire? Crazy swimming pool there!

It's fucking great the owners son and I bullshitted. The owner was falling over drunk and the characters in there were worthy of some film noir kind of thing. Loved it. About 3am a bunch of gay US-philes came in and we finished the night asking the rude questions in my phrase book. A++++++

No was staying at the Marriot. It was for work. If I go for pleasure I'd stay at the ibis or something cheap. No fucking pool at my hotel and a shitty gym. Not worth all the 260 euros. Pah!

But yeah thanks again great reccomendation
