I remember reading in a book how, when two Muslim extremists kidnapped his housekeeper in 1969 and demanded money for her, he refused to pay the ransom and they ended up butchering the poor woman.

So imagine what the Fox News healthcare package might not include :nonono:

Despicable shithead, as far as I'm concerned

It wasnt Branson threatening to buy out ITV. I have a strange feeling it was someone crap like Channel 5.

lol.. just googled and its bloody Murdoch who bought 18% on the 18th for a mere £940m. He's ruled out a take over bid, which might come from RTL, who own Channel 5.

I thought it was Murdoch swallowing it up.."Leave a piece of meat out and the preditor always strikes" was the phrase used to describe Murdoch...Him possibly seeing ITV as a potential threat to The golden egg footie rights, and moving in for the kill.

Hopefully Fox won't take credit for implementing the decision to cancel the O.J. Simpson television interview and book publishing; they should've known all along that it was a bad idea.

Murdoch himself is taking credit for that. Still it took a fecking long time.

More media owned by the same people, great. It's like '1984' except their goal is to inflict the most mind-numbing crap possible on a helpless population. "Don't bother changing the channel..."

Ah well. What's the afternoon movie on five today?
