Cheers Mick, even though United clearly had the best of the play they didnae test our keeper once. Twas a very poor game but after suffering several disappointments in the past few qualifying campaigns through late goals or disputable penalties, this more than makes up for it.

Where's Barney Army? All I got at the New Order gigs he was at was "3-2" and "We're gonna stuff you in Glasgow" I believe the phrase Nick, is "You're Not Singing Anymore"

C'MON THE HOOPS.

Did anyone actually think Saha was going to score that Penalty? Obvious he was going to miss, should never have taken it.

But getting rid of Van Nistelrooy? 14 goals for Madrid, but Saha, he'll do better!

Spare a thought for Asim...

13hrs on a plane from Buenos Aires to Paris snookered in his seat by a big fat bird, with a shouty little kid in the seat in front.

Then 2.5hrs in Paris, before flying to Manc.

2hrs there then flying to Glasgee.

Only to see Yoonited lose!

Mind, he did get shouts out from both Barney in Rio and Ian Brown in B.A. for his huge LONGSIGHT REDS / TRUE FAITH flag.

Congrats Hoops..

Let's hope the wheels fall off in the prem for Man U now.A few more losses in the league for Man U would give Boro's title hopes a lift... :thumb:

that Nakamura fella is absolute shite, but he can take a boss freekick. If Celtic didn't have the crowd and our anthem they'd just be another...er..Boro.

Today I have mostly been pissing myself reading a couple of the main Man Utd fan sites (Redissue & Redcafe forums).

You'd have thought Celtic would be given a bit more respect with our home record in Europe, but it's far too easy for fans down here to brand us shite and no-hopers and we'd be lucky to survive in the Premiership.

Fergie got his comeuppance for the debacle that happened in Copenhagen, even after fielding his strongest team.

Nevermind - apparently there's a bigger game at the weekend

Nope, even better than that WE ARE AWAY TO FALKIRK. Tell me there's a bigger game than that and I'll slap you around the chops and call you Cyril.

I know, a New Order gig and a European away game.

Not the sort of thing you've probably ever thought about, eh, Kershie?

I have never understood why fans do that (in sport I mean, it's perfectly OK for us to call U2 a pack of cunts....although that IS mainly because it's an experimentally verifiable assertion, but I digress), F1 fans are unbelievable for it..... Driver A races the ballix off Driver B from lights to flag, and both lots of fans call the other guy a talentless spastic in a rusting tractor....makes no sense....what they are actually saying is "my guy can barely beat a talentless retard in a rusty tractor".

Or in this case "our team can't handle a bunch of halfwit barbarians". Baffling.

As for Asim's trip. Hand on heart...I'd have got chucked off the flight, no shit, I'd have put up with it in the best stiff upper lip tradition for about, ooooh 3 hours...then beaten the walrus to death with the annoying whelp. I HATE shouty, crying offspring, I would make a pathetic dad. Some distant random relative brought a sprog to my wee sis's wedding, and it howled it's microscopic balls off the whole way through the ceremony....am I wrong in thinking, that the polite thing to do is to FUCK OFF? Dunno what you should do on planes, except, follow Bill Hicks' wisdom....if there are no smoking planes cos smoke bothers some...there shouldd also be no kiddies planes!!!

My Wolves-Manc-Belfast-bangor return was quite enough for me thanks and it was orders of magnitude easier than Asim's by the sound of it.

(me and Jem DID have a demon child behind us on the way own to London, but it got off....in stoke oddly enough)
