insects/bugs

Okay. I was sitting outside and didn't know this damn thing was there until I saw a flash from where it was. I looked up and there was a waterbug(or medium sized roach)and it was not near a light. I can't stand those damn things. I had to wait for my bf to come home to get him to hit it with a broom and kill it. Can roaches give off flashes of light? I thought that was weird.

some insects do indeed give of a phosphorous light.

Okay, I was sitting in a chair and I wished my gf was here so we could go have lunch together, but she wasn't here, so I went and got lunch by myself. Then I came back. Now I'm thirsty.

I typed "thirty" instead of "thirsty," but then I fixed it. Still, one can dream.

If they are terrorist roaches, and have a bomb strapped to their body, I imagine that would give off a flash...or maybe it was a tourist roach...you know...on his holidays...taking pictures with his itty bitty digital camera...

For the 18 years I lived at my mother's house, there were always waterbugs and I never saw one give off a flash of light. Although maybe Texas roaches are different. I heard roaches down south fly. Is this only a myth us northern city dwellers created or is it true?

Remember Jesse...EVERYTHING'S bigger in Texas...and yes, some of the bastards do fly...

but for the record, I've never seen one give off light either...

So, if Depeche Mode go down to Texas, does that mean they're bigger in Texas?
