I gave my blood (Patricia's grandma is waiting for her surgery - that is the reason of my donation). I feel great and proud actually, I did it first time in my life. And I got some bonus after bleeding :
- 8 bars of chocolate
- coffee
- a day off

I applaud you. I tried to give blood years ago. They laughed me out of the surgery............but I got a biscuit anyway. ![]()
Aye recently started giving blood - bout time for me to donate again....
all i got was some orange squash!
Even in Japan, I don't weigh enough to give blood, so I can't anyways. (I'm 19 years old, so I'm old enough though.)
I tried donating blood, but my iron was low. It was off by 1% according to the criteria. However, women naturally do have lower levels of iron than men. ![]()

Wow, you must be tiny, Emma. I gave blood for the first time a couple of weeks ago and here you can't be under 45 kilos.

I'm a bit on the petite side (but a little more than 45 kilos thankfully so I'm not unhealthy).
Last time, it was the butterfly needle they had to use on me as part of my physical checkup... :\ohwell:
