Top movie in which shallow, narcissistic protagonist creates alternative fantasy life as means of escaping the misery of her own pitiful existence in the 'real' world.

None of you are remotely as hot as Naomi Watts.

(See also "Lost Highway". None of you are as good looking at Patricia Arquette. Or Bill Pullman for that matter.)

Mulholland Drive - I like those lez-thread, Lost Highway - love-scene with Song To The Sirene - I love it.

 what is your point to put that film topics. Did I miss sth?

I drove along the length of the Mulholland Drive/Highway last times I was on the West Coast. Bizarre. Large sections of it are unpaved; sheer drops of several hundred feet to your side a certain points and no crash barriers; you can drive for an hour in the middle of the day and barely see another person.

No wonder - as in Mulholland Falls - people used to dump bodies into the ravines along there. Scenic, but scary.

Utter shite.

I turned it off halfway though, and I like David Lynch.

Was it about as confusing as Lost Highway? Took me two times of watching to finally understand the meaning of that movie.

A bit less confusing depending on what order you think the vaguely marked flashbacks go in. I still think it's Lynch's best movie. 'Inland Empire' comes out very soon too! Yay!
