I just got Hybrid's I Choose Noise single which features Hooky on one of the mixes and its a pretty ****ing good. I've criminally ignored Hybrid and I'm just wondering if anyone could give some recomnedations on what albums of their's which may be worth getting hold of. Cheers!:thumb:

That's easy. Buy the one with Hooky on!

Morning Sci-Fi!

I just bought the new album "I Choose Noise" the other day which as you say has Hooky contributing to one track (Dogstar); sounds pretty good so far.

True To Form and Higher Than A Skyscraper are essential listening for Hooky fans :thumb:

Personally I think 'Wider Angle' is excellent, the follow-up, 'Morning Sci-Fi' with Peter Hook performing on 'True To Form' is a good album and probably worth buying too as there is a difference in styles between the two. Less orchestration for a start...

I would have said that 'I Choose Noise' is more reminiscent to 'Wider Angle'

Not sure if that helps at all?

Wow, they have a new album out , great news....

I went through a Hybrid phase a few years ago and downloaded some 50 or so Hybrid Live Sets.

But then they disappeared from my Aurale Pleasures, as i had listened to them to death.

But will definitely have to grab this one and check it out, and lol, begin Stage 2 of my live set collection :)
