I've only ever built 2 things from flatpack, that I can recall anyway. First was an £8.99 office chair which collapsed within weeks ( fuck all to do with my construction, poor materials and manufacture...the metal bits all failed under my weight and all the screwthreads were wonky). And then, more recently a wardrobe that I did a bit of a Dr with....ie sat with instruction sheet muttering "hmmm, well that'll never do" and "I think THIS works better". Miraculously this structure still stands an has shown no unstable traits.

I can build a PC from the absolutely ground up (actually that's the suckiest bit of hardware, putting the motherboard into the case, nightmare, but from then on it's plain sailing until you put a windows disc in it), does that count for owt?

(BTW, anyone else who has built one will agree....it's a doddle....it's like special school lego, everything can only go in one place.)
