The latest in a series of NME Special Commemorative mags has just come out this week. Turning their attention to all the greats from the Punk era....all our faves seem to be there, present and correct. Looks like the NME have done the unthinkable and at least brought out something worth reading for once. Me? I think I might get it actually - but whether or not Minor Threat, Black Flag, Fugazi and all the rest ever get a token mention is debatable to say the least, compiled as it probably is with a higher Brit bias than a US one.....

Anyone bought a copy of this yet?? Just wondering what your opinion of it is...

Flicked thru it meself only earlier today infact, H.

It looks alright actually, and Siouxsie's there as well - in the highly unlikely event she wasn't I'D PLAY HELL WITH THE FOOKING EDITORS!!! - but, like with my general opinion of the NME of late, they're not the kind of people I'd relish parting with my cash to line their egotistical pockets.....I mean, it's a fiver an issue! So.....that leaves me with a dilemma..... should I do what I did before and nick one from the news-stand at the railway station or what??? Or be an honest cat and pay for it?? Mmmmmm, a toughie that one..... :skeptic:
