Well, what can I say about Montpellier...

Ranked 11th town in France. Not only have we the oldest faculty of medecine of Europe, but the students weight one third of the population. So, you can imagine what the city looks like... lots of pubs, clubs and drugs. This is shared with the second largest gay community of the country (in proportion, compared with Paris). It is also said that it is impossible to spend holidays here without shagging someone, at least... And the sea is not very far... You have special beaches, for normal people, for the gay community and for the ones who like to live naked...

If you add all the other things which offers the city, well it is a good place to live...

Well, what can I say about Montpellier...

I'm sure the only difference is the spelling.

And the culture.

And all the naked people on the beaches.

Other than that ... sister cities!

We get naked when working on our barns

Well, you all know how prudish the state is...we did give you the Bush family (actually, it's more like they adopted us)...strict baptist values...blah blah blah

but Austin is quite a bit different from the rest of the state...ya wanna be gay...no problem, we'll welcome you...hippies/freaks galore...plus all those goofy politicians (when the house is in session)...we've got a famous cross-dressing homeless guy who ran for mayor a few years back, and finished in SECOND place..

there must be a reason we have all those bumper stickers that say "KEEP AUSTIN WEIRD"...eh???

And who doesn't? Just like kids under the age of 21 used to cross the border to Idaho to drink cause the minimum age there used to be 19.

Oregon has a nice mix of the staid and the liberal, and keeping Oregon green just doesn't always refer to the ecology:smoking:

I thought it was funny when I lived in Oregon that there is no middle ground; you're either a "hug-every tree" hippie that is fanatical about the enviroment -or- logsman that wants to cut down every tree and cares fuck all about the enviroment.

But I never saw any stipjoints in any of the cities there, I imagine only in Portland? You're not refering to the random, naked hippie chicks that never shower or shave walking to the coffee houses in Albany are you?:barf:

The Bushes are actually WASPs from Connecticut/New England Way. Both Dad & son went to Yale-for goodness sake.

Hey Austin gave the world Kinky Friedman!!

More strippers per capita than anywhere else in the country, they say.

Where I live... For some reason last year, the police shut down all the Asian run massage parlors where you tip to get the "happy ending"... nobody knows why they suddenly shut them down, they didn't do anything bad other than prostitution. They were kinda fun:\ohwell:

I've delivered to two bath houses and they let them alone(see the great Butters episode of South Park if you don't know what a bath house is)

The true strip clubs we have are awfully sleezy... most are too scary to go to at night, park your car at your own risk... Personally I would not think the risk would be worth the laugh, you can always look at the internet so easy even if Pres.Bush and company have cleaned up internet quite a bit :( (the bastard)

Nah, there's at least one of those coffee places in every town, such as at the Beanery in Corvallis.

Weirdly, there are no strip clubs in Corvallis, but boy, there are quite a few of 'em in Salem, Eugene, and Springfield (dunno about Bend, haven't been over there for awhile). Hell, there was even one in fkucin' SCIO for awhile a couple of years back, the Road House needed somethin' to drum up business, so voilá.....

Worked for awhile anyway, how much business of that can there be in a small town populated mostly with Mennonintes? :uhoh:
