I read somewhere that the controillers break quite easily which Nintendo have supposedly already fixed but lol, a good view for all gamers:
Anyone bought a Nintendo WII yet and broken their new plasma yet?

as long as you aren't retarded (or drunk) enough to actually release your grip on the controller, you are in fine shape...
I've played mine both drunk and sober, and have yet to break anything...although I did hit the dog...but that was because she tried to sneak up on me...
Nah,the 360 is way better. Gears Of War,Dead Rising,Project Gotham Racing just 3 games Wii or the PlayStation 3 cant touch.
Project Gotham is hardly a driving gae, LOL, you can play it with digital controls. Try that with GPL or GTR. I'm sure it LOOKS very pretty though.
As you might imagine, I'd rather choke on my own liver than give Gates money, 360 included, but I must admit, most MS hardware is really good (clue: none of it is built by MS, the keyboards and mice are usually logitec with MS written in in crayon, the Xboxen appear to be the same)
And Nintendo is for kids, always has been. I have an N64 Emulator that I trail out now and then, and everything's just so bright and red/green/blue. Might buy a PS3 eventually, but a cheap PS2 with a wheel and GT might be fun first.
I heard that all the Wii's have had to be recalled because people keep hurting themselves with them. Is that true?
I believe the strap which sits around your hand which is atached to the wireless controller is breaking too easily, mainly on games like "Baseball" and "Ten Pin Bowling".
The machine itself isnt being recalled but Nintendo are replacing the straps to a more hardened version.
I believe this strap was already fixed when the machine was shipped to Australia / England / PAL Countries.
The strap problem still occurs in USA / NTSC Countries.
Personally, im waiting till March for the PAL release of the PS3, but like catching up with other console goss anyway.

Its been offically re-scheduled for August 2007 release in the UK now. Which i think looks like Sony have lost the plot completely-360 will be 2 years old then, and their the same "generation" console.
So Microsoft's system will run at about £129 by then, and Sony are gonna launch at £429... Its not hard to see how things will turn out.
And add to that Bill Gates will probably try and damage PS3's launch with news of a third Xbox sometime late 2008. I've been lucky enough to try a PS3,and its equal to a 360,but the graphics are no better than its rival so the question is,is a blu-ray dvd drive worth the extra £300?
Oh,and word is the retail price for PS3 titles is going to be a whopping £54.99...
Hopefully the laser diode shortage will have eased by the time of PS3's launch, that £300 is all for the stupid price of the Blu-ray drive, and based on those I've seen for PC is actually CHEAP LOL!
Steveone: After reading of your news that PS3 has been delayed in PAL countries to August 07, i did a quick google search but everything i see is still pointing to a March 2007 release.
Where did u get that news from?

Beg, steal or borrow a cube with resident evil 4, then tell me it's bright:D
I had to laugh thinking about those people who threw their Wii-motes until recently when my sister-in-law told me she actually did this herself.. luckily it didn't fly into their big screen TV, but it nonetheless flew a good 20 feet into the kitchen floor.
I have a PS3 myself. I also don't want to give M$ any more money than they need. They feel that they can come in and buy the video game industry. PS3 support Linux. I've got it installed, and use a SNES emulator. Gran Turismo HD is brilliant. Anybody with one, feel free to add me into their 'friends list'

I didn't say all PAL,just UK and that was in The Sun (so it must be true...)
I love our Wii.
Loads of people having a laugh who don't normally bother with computer games (me included)
Much better than some nerd with an xbox who never goes out or sees anyone ![]()
Well done Nintendo ![]()
