...they do say that as one dies, another is born, is it really the end of NO???...My first baby was born on 20th December, Henry Roman Jenkins, and he is a little beauty!
:) I think he is going to be a rock star, so not all is lost if NO have finally ended!! (but I doubt they have, probably just a bit tired after doing more than 5 gigs this year)!!
So I am a very happy man at the moment, if a little tired..! :)![]()

Congratulations. ![]()
And good timing keeping it so close to Xmas. One pressie to cover both bases for all his future birthdays. ![]()
Congratulations, remember to throw all the nursery rhyme cds that people give you in the bin, and start on the New Order songs asap. I would wait a little longer before you start playing Joy Division to him.
I always feel bad for folks born around Christmas, it's "either your birthday or Christmas, but can't be both" when it comes to presents :(
So be sure to spoil him ![]()
Congrats ![]()

My son is 8 Jan, and it is a bit difficult to spoil him both days, as they are only a few weeks apart. It is easy, on you rpart to find a present however. I just buy a crap load, then point at one which I hide until his birthday.
Congrats!!!! New little ones are so much fun!
***and in case you don't know, I recommend putting the baby on a bottle as fast as possible. Breast feeding will have the baby waking up at all times of the night (as the milk takes alot of work to get to). However, putting the baby on the bottle feeds them a shit load, and puts them to sleep and youcan actually plan when the baby will wake up.***

Well, that's certainly an interesting insight. My Godson is breatsfed, and he does wake up often. But what you're talking about here is not for the benefit of the baby. The best thing for the baby is breastfeeding, in part because it develops the baby's immune system. Breastfeeding also provides benefits to the mother, in reduced risk of several types of cancer, including breast and ovarian cancer, as well as reduced risk of osteoporosis. Finally, there is a bond that develops between mother and breastfed child that can't be packaged and sold.
And don't forget, that shitload they get from bottle feeding has to go somewhere. ![]()

JD tunes- once he gets his skates on is up and running.. From Safety to Where? Something Must Break.. Sound of Music.
Well, thank you for all the congratulations messages! He is keeping us busy, no doubt about that, especially between about 2am and 6am.....yes, he is being breastfed! But it is/will all be worth it! :)

Thought Curtis was born in June, no? ![]()
Congratulations. It's an uphill ride and sorry to be negative, but after 11 you feel slightly inadequate. However..........its worth it.
My Son wasn't due until 9th Jan; he was born on 12th November (couldn't wait for Christmas!!!!!!!) he had a lot of difficulties in the first few months, in fact the first few years; didnt think he would ever be on a par with other kids............now he's bloody Steve Campbell in miniature; .............
Whatever they are, whatever they do; they are the most precious thing you will ever possess. Make the most of every moment.
