Some Jock team are pissed off, they can't sack any players because of their contracts and besides they don't know the Italian for 'you're fired' so they're blaming the manager and they've sacked him.

'Demotes' a player who lives and breathes his club.
Quite possibly the best player at that club too.
And Rangers is more than just a 'job' for Ferguson, unlike it was for Le Guen.
Manager got everything he deserved.
It does send out the message that whoever comes in as manager will be dancing to Barry Ferguson's tune tho...which is bad for football IMO.I don't know all the details, granted,but when it's your best player who is more valued by the club than the manager it must be awkward..So you'd have to make Barry Ferguson player/manager or bring in a puppet manager who knows he will be undermined.Not the way to run a club for me..Nice to see Celtic pissing away with it mind

If Le Guen had proved himself at Rangers, he might have a point. But that wasn't really the case here, was it? Sounds like football prevailed in this instance. Or at least fan-power, cos that's what Ferguson is at the end of the day. A fan.

No...Ferguson is a fan-ny. Lives and breathes Rangers? Is that why he fucked off down to Balckburn at the first sign of big bucks? Only came back because he was a disaster at Ewood and his only other option was a move to the Championship.
I've said all along that he's one of the most overrated players around. And he should've been dropped from the national squad years ago for his shocking performances and his habbit of calling off when it doesn't suit him.
All said though it's a fucking hillarious situation. Where's that fannyrag "The Boy" when you want a right good laugh?
