Hurray for quittin' smokin'. Got by with a T-Shirt, Jeans, boots or loafers and a zip vest through November early Dec.. not regular. Some were still in plain shoes w/ out socks or Flip flops!
Couple of Huge wind storms this last couple weeks. Hail late yesterday afternoon after the clear cold skies. Then another two 100km wind sessions. Has been snowing for the last 12 hours. Snow plow just went on by though not needed as such. Regular December Jan. scene is either clearer colder, wet snow + always lots of rain. Québec and Ontario is so mild they're comfortably playing golf.
Had a freakin' heat wave going on when the New Year came in, then this week it's been up and down from miserable to bearable ![]()
And on the news tonight they were talking about how it's going to go back to being warm this weekend ![]()
Makes you wonder if there isn't some sort of man-made reason behind all these crazy fluctuations...but of course that's not possible :p

speaking of which...can anyone tell me what the hell this forcaster is talking about other than the upcoming weather forecast. he's using words in a way that sounds almost porno-ish. i started laughing....
IN THE SOUTHERN BRANCH OF SPLIT POLAR WESTERLIES...MODELS GENERALLY INDICATE THAT THE VIGOROUS DIGGING IMPULSE WILL BOTTOM OUT ACROSS THE SOUTHERN GREAT BASIN/LOWER COLORADO VALLEY LATE THURSDAY NIGHT OR EARLY FRIDAY. SYSTEM IS THEN PROGGED TO BEGIN LIFTING OUT OF THE
SOUTHWESTERN U.S...BUT MODELS STILL VARY WITH REGARD TO THE MANNER IN WHICH THIS OCCURS. HOWEVER...GUIDANCE CONTINUES TO INDICATE THAT SIGNIFICANT SURFACE CYCLOGENESIS WILL NOT INITIATE ALONG THE COLD FRONT TO THE LEE OF THE ROCKIES THROUGH AT LEAST THE END OF THIS FORECAST PERIOD.
like a hidden meaning. god, this guy is a professional cunnilinguist....
fucking bastard.
We had 16 degrees last saturday (62 F for US people)... in January... no snow, nothing.
And this is the great white north, remember?
Though it skipped to -12 today, but it's supposed to climb back...

I dunno where the fuck you lot are living, it froze the ballix of me here last night.
We NEVER get snow in Bangor, well never of any quality, surrounded on 2 ( and a half) sides by sea you see, as well as being on the prevailingly leaward side of the Island.
It snowed here last night, an absolutely beautiful dusting of snow on everything today.
Today, it's a clear sunny day out, AND it's still snowing. Amazing.
Because the skies are clear, we have a really good view of Mt. St. Helens, immense and snow-covered, on the north horizon...

How the hell does the Oregon coast get more snow than we do? :confused3: Still, a very lovely sight.
