Saw them in 1975, The tour supporting Sabotage, at Winterland. Ozzy still in the band, Mahogany Rush the supporting act. Still have the concert program and a patch somewhere at my mother's house...

Not sure if it counts as a full fledged concert, but saw the Beach Boys at a Padres (baseball) game when I was 8. If not then it would be the Cure on the Wish tour.

That'd be The Police, with XTC, October 1980 in Portland. Happily found a decent audience recording of the gig on Dimeadozen last year, so I'll just c&p the set list from the txt file.

The Police were great, but XTC were absolutely brilliant, Black Sea hadn't come out in the U.S. yet (bought my import copy that day), their set list was pretty much the same as the BBC Radio One live in concert disc. The buildup to Battery Brides was great, also great seeing Andy bop around the stage.

Anyway, the Police:

My mother took me to the Texas International Pop Festival in Lewisville, TX for 1 day in 1969. It was 3 days long, and on the day we went we saw the Incredible String Band, BB King, Led Zeppelin, Sam & Dave and Santana. I remember absolutely none of it, because I was 4 years old.....

The first concert I remember was Elvis Presley at the Tarrant County Convention Center in Fort Worth in 1973 when I was 10.

My first concert was Electrolux as well...!

My first 'real' gig was seeing the rave era Prodigy in '92 at the Royal Court in Liverpool. A fairly okayish gig and at least it was way before all the Heavy Metal/Rave crossover s*** they went massive with in '96! However I wish I'd have gone to the infamous Beastie Boys '87 gig in Liverpool which ended in a riot when they claimed they were harder than you're average scouser. Not a very good idea methinks. And yes, they DID play live, in fact liver than NO as their sequenced stuff was coming from live machines ( although I think the fairlught parts were on tape cos I don;t recall seeing the holy greenscreen).

BErlin were support, utterly boring apart from the obvious track, which was very very good indeed live, although the chick climbing the speaker stasks was a big unnnerving.
