Hi eveyone, this post goes to people who like the cure. I just wanna know which are your 5 cure's favorites songs!!
my top 5:
this is a new order / joy division site. take your crappy cure songs and stick them on a different website, or preferably up your arse.
In no particular order:
Primary A Forest Jumpng Someone Else's Train Friday I'm in Love Lovesong
1.) Just Like Heaven 2.) Pictures of You 3.) Close to Me 4.) Inbetween Days 5.) 10:15 Saturday Night
Jumping Someone Elses Train 10:15 Saturday Night Let's Go To Bed The Lovecats Killing An Arab
then I got good taste in music and quit listening to the Cure...
The Last Day Of Summer Doing The Unstuck To Wish Impossible Things Just Like Heaven Trust
Wish is my favourite Cure album and Fat Bob is definitely capable of some great pop tunes although it is unfortunate he looks like he's been dragged through a hedge backwards numerous times then had his make-up slapped on by a circus organiser.

I Wrote clearly: this post goes to people who like the cure...if you don´t like them...too bad and shut the fuck up!!
who do you think you are piece of "#$&7? maybe your mother likes the cure!!![]()
sorry about this... with the rest of nice people!!
No particular order...
all cats are grey M another day play for today a forest
Well it can change depending on my mood. But they will always be on three imaginery boys, 17 seconds, faith and pornagraphy... In fact :
Desintegration was a good one.
I find all the others very very boring... the top being one of the most useless record ever recorded...

so differing opinions aren't allowed???
All my Cure stuff is on C90 tapes, recorded from mate's albums. I've not listened to any of it for years.
But Charlotte Sometimes would probably be top of my list.
Killing An Arab
Shake Dog Shake
Happy The Man
Inbetween Days
The Walk
Haven't really paid attention to Smith & Co. in years. Head On The Door show live was great though. ![]()
how can you pick just 5?
Disintegration Catch Play for today (live, Paris) From the edge of the deep green sea (live, Show) 2 Late

poor man!!
Pictures of You is a great song.
The fact that I like one song by them probably puts them in my top-twenty bands. I'm not about to start wearing lipstick though.
Well, I might.
Inbetween Days, natch. ![]()
Have posted this story before, but remember having a few choice words with a bunch of Zulus in Torquay in the summer of '85. They'd mistaken us for West Ham, us being dressed in paisley with diamante broaches at the neck and had been alright at first, but had then turned. And it's handbags outside this club when Inbetween Days comes booming up and I literally walk off mid-chat proclaiming to all and sundry that I was off to listen to New Order..
... imagine my disgust when the truth hit home. :dead:

In fairness, it's an amazing tune, isn't it.
Just a shame it's by the Cure.
I know our American brethren love to pigeonhole 'genres' and we think we're above that in this country but certainly back then, and as an impressionable teenager, the 'image' of a group was also so very important. New Order were your lads' band, the Cure, er, weren't. At all. I'm sure they've done some brilliant tracks, and I don't necessarily whince at anything they've done (bar that Lovecats shite), but you'll never ever get me to like the band. It's too ingrained in me to be dismissive of that Goth girlie shite. Such is life.
the live versions are generally so much better, but anyway:
Fascination Street Disintergration A Night Like This Play For Today Open

Funnily enough, Lullaby's one of their songs I actually quite like. Very melodic bass carrying the song.
Disintegration (live versions) Jumping Someone Else's Train Killing An Arab Lullaby 10:15 Saturday Night
