I'm going to form my own band, devise a hype-sponsored chart success wave within 2 months and request to be added to the MvC bill. Don't need any sort of ticket then.

It's genius, I don't know why I didn't think of it before!

BIGINOIL's already in the band on the electric cello :thumb:

I'm not fucking paying to watch you!

Will you also be available to play the next NOOL Day?

Right, definitely going to do Brixton, might have to give Manc a miss (as it's the day before my birthday, and I don't particularly want to be on a train for half of it)!! :smoking:

I will, however, be up in Manc on 23rd February, Liam - Biting Tongues are reforming for one show in Salford (Islington Mill Studios, wherever the fuck that is)! :)

Oh, and I *will* be there for Versus Cancer, even if I have to buy off a tout at the door! :spit:

That's news and a half!

Booth was a bit "lost" on his own with nothing for company except that bonedome and his ludicrous (tres Village People) moustache.

So this means that James will finally Come Home and then Sit Down.....to the pleasure of many? ;)

:p

Do you know what time they are onstage at? I have a ticket to see Little Man Tate that night but if i can do both I will.

Beers beforehand, no doubt?

Are people on here possibly brainwashed into liking anything that comes from the Manchester music scene? Just a thought.

Good question - have absolutely no idea what time - should hopefully find out soon enough, and definitely beers beforehand (and on Saturday - my train doesn't leave until the evening)! :smoking:

Well, quite a few bands I like do indeed come from Manchester (obviously via the 'Madchester' hype of the late 80's) - i.e. more were brought out into the limelight...

I certainly don't base my musical tastes about where a band comes from, though...

As for James, I just liked their poppy, well put together songs, and tend to find myself putting their live album "Getting Away With It" into my CD player quite a few times... :smoking:

Here's an idea for you Nick. Why dont you have a birthday day/night out in Manchester for the James gig, get pissed and we'll hit the town afterward. I'm sure others can be persuaded.
