Can nobody read?

They haven't "ended," it's not "over," they're not "moving on." They're trying to work things out.

Give them the chance to do that, people...

Maybe I was lost in translation, we did try for the last 3 months to fix it, it didn't work, we're moving apart and see how it goes from there... worst case scenario, we'll be friends until one of us find somebody else.

Anyways, that is very depressing, I helped her to move tonight, I just got back.

And Al, yes, I know it will be the hardest part... talking to myself is not my usual fun... but it's very hard because in the 5.5 years we spent together, we've never been apart more than 24 hours... except for the recent trip to England (and hers to France)... which was considered as a break.

Anyways, not much I can do but wait until time does its job.

I thought I was Lost in Translation.

Ah well, my best wishes for the both of you anyway. Sometimes time apart helps to bring clarity...

Nic, you're in the very best company.

Mrs Big and I are going to court in the near future.

We've been apart for a while so fairly used to it now. As someone just said, the separation has seen us get along much better.

Good Luck Sweetie, Hope that you can remain good friends if nothing more; It's hard work but well worth the effort in my experience. Hugs

Good luck Nic, it's awful when a long term relationship breaks up but you are doing the right thing by not plodding on. The separation could mean you realise you are meant to be together. If not, it will be for the best and hopefully you can remain friends.

On a brighter note, you'll be able to starfish in bed!

You have a right to some happiness, and I hope you find it with or without a partner.. Take your time and try to be strong about it,if you can. :thumb:

Harsh to say the least! Like when? It's better to take the piss and have a laff about stuff, innit? I'm not the only one who carries on, on here, and it's all good.

But come on, I do have manners, and I know as well as the next man, when someone is having a rough time of it...

All the best Nic,hope you doin alright...:thumb:

Hiya Nic,I'm sorry to hear of that mate, you certainly kept a brave face in London. Things will feel shit for now, what you need is another trip. I know that 3 weeks after the wife moved out,I fcuked off to New York on my own.Not only was it the best holiday I've ever been on,I came back feeling like the Dog's Bollocks.I got my self-esteem back. Take care mate.

Although it's hard - it's definitely better to get out than live under a pretence, like others I'm speaking from recent personal experience.

In a few months you will hopefully be able to look back and realise that you've done the right thing.

Look after yourself, that's the main thing.

I certainly hope so... because right not it's my first week-end completely alone in 6 years, and it's really not evident.

But I don't feel like going out at all, so better do it this way.

Cheers.

Take Care Nic; I admire your honesty. And you know probably, it takes an amount of love for someone, to let them go, before things go .............really sour. I wish you well. x :)
