I hate to bring my personal problems on here, but well..

Wish me good luck, my wife is moving out tonight, we'll be officially apart starting tomorrow.

Moderators were aware of this because I was unable to do many of my duties on here, for a good reason...

This has been going on since the beginning of October, and when I was saying 2006 was the worst year of my life, you now know why. I would like to thank all those who managed to make me think about something else while I was on vacation in England, let's say I needed a break at that point, my wife and I decided to try one last time to make it work and we came to a conclusion at the beginning of January it was impossible while living together.

So, it will be rough times, but I'll survive. So don't worry if I'm not here as much as I used to, I have my reasons.

been there..done that...but actually, the former Mrs. White and I started getting along MUCH better after we were divorced...at one point we were even thinking about getting married again...then we went...erm...maybe not...

but, everyone here knows that I am a bit of a flake....soooo

Bloody HELL NIC.Sorry to hear this and indeed GOOD LUCK.As one who has a catalogue of failed marriages and relationships i can't offer much help.But remember that you can STILL have a great LIFE married or not.I can only guess at the pain you are going through and as long as you don't do it MY WAY you should be fine.I lost YEARS drinking away my LIFE instead of just LIVING.Take care and i am sure we all wish you well. If it's any consolation, I'm having a mole removed from my leg on Friday morning cause it got slightly bigger and darker and it's got a dodgy looking shade around. Not afraid of the operation itself but it's the possibility of it being a skin cancer that scares the shit out of me.

I'm so sorry Nic. I know I've spoken to you already, but the best you can do is stay positive. I've never been married, but I've ended a three-year relationship. It's hard, but it's harder if you wallow, ya know? I wish you the best, man.

You know Nic,when i split up with a long term girlfriend years ago,a mate said something to me i didn't understand,but i learnt what he meant. Tomorrows a new day,and it'll probably be better than today.

Not much anyone can say really, although I'm sure we've all been through similar.

You'll have days when you're glad to be single, but other days when it feels like the whole world's caving in on you.

Hardest thing I initially found when I split with my wife was waking up on the weekend and not having anyone else there to talk to. There's no short-term fixes, you just have to take every day as it comes.

oi! They might have been his Tasks or they fell under the 'shared Duties.

Time goes people change. Hopefully got the good memeories of times past. Luck, strength and working ease. Future can always be bright. Even if obviously uncertain.

Keep your spirtis up! I can only imagine how difficult it is for you. Please remain loyal to your yourself and your personal beliefs on love. You have to believe that there is someone for you and the slate needs to be clean for the day you meet her.

Good luck Nic..God knows relationships are so difficult. I've been in your position sometimes down the years,splitting and getting back together.It's never perfect,and terrible when tension starts getting to you. Sometimes I still want out,though my situation is different to yours.

You have a right to some happiness,and I hope you find it with or without a partner.. Take your time and try to be strong about it,if you can.

That wouldn't be very conducive to working things out, or having a stable relationship afterwards, in my opinion.

Maybe I was lost in translation, we did try for the last 3 months to fix it, it didn't work, we're moving apart and see how it goes from there... worst case scenario, we'll be friends until one of us find somebody else.

Anyways, that is very depressing, I helped her to move tonight, I just got back.

And Al, yes, I know it will be the hardest part... talking to myself is not my usual fun... but it's very hard because in the 5.5 years we spent together, we've never been apart more than 24 hours... except for the recent trip to England (and hers to France)... which was considered as a break.

Anyways, not much I can do but wait until time does its job.
