I very much doubt cancer patients (undergoing chemotherapy), glaucoma, and MS sufferers (to name but a few) would find any benifit from consuming alcohol, many do however find great benifit from hash.

Worldwide how many documented cases have their ever been of anyone dying from marijuana: NONE! How many documented cases have there been of alcohol causing death? BILLIONS!

ps please name 1 way in which the demon drink is beneficial, cause it escapes me how addiction, poverty, and death are beneficial.

some of the effects of long term dope usage.

Long-term users may experience additional effects Cannabis may also have additional effects on long-term users, including: • The risk of asthma, emphysema, shortness of breath, chest infections, and throat, mouth and lung cancers • Poor concentration, memory loss and learning difficulties • Depression of the immune system, which increases the risk of developing infections • Serious mental illness, such as schizophrenia

None of which disproves the fact that alcohol is a VASTLY more dangerous drug than marijuana.

(Indeed much of the data of these studies has been discredited. I'll be back with a full & frank answer to this just gotta find something 1st (so you don't have to take my opinion on it)........

This may take a while :drug:... (I wish)!

Can't find the report I was reading last night, from a respected scientific, journal saying hash smokers are at lower risk of cancer than tobacco smokers (I'll post it when I find it). ps Do you really consider Governments (and Labs/scientists funded by them) that outlaw marijuana to be objective? pps this is nowhere near a full reply, but as it's 4:19am on a Sun morning here it can wait till tomorrow.

ps it's "morphine" (& it's most common form derivative being of course heroin [diacetylmorphine] and not as I've often seen it "heroine").:)

Sorry, I should have known it had the same spelling as in french... I took a guess.

If you have less than 100 grams on your person (for personal use) you will not be prosecuted; any more and there is the possibility of being charged with intent to supply (or mere possession). Hash (solid) & grass have only been decriminalised, there is a difference, and not just technical, between this and legal. Certain coffee shops etc are given a licence to be able to sell it. But it is still illegal, yes it is a strange state of affairs. But it is certainly better than allowing the real killer drugs tobacco and alcohol to be legal while outlawing such a harmless, and often beneficial drug as marijuana.

In Canada, it almost became "legal" in 2005... instead they would give you a fine... but of course our southern neighbours starting to be pissed... and it never went through...

All depends of quantity and frequency really.

Red wine is good for your heart... but one glass a day :p

Exactly, & I've just nodded off for about 20mins there. Way past my bedtime!

Don't worry about it mate, my 1st language is meant to be English (well Scots), and the only reason I seem to be able to spell is thanks to "Sage" and a spell checker.

Anyway night (morning) all.
