Honeymoon in October! Going to CAPE VERDE,the isle of Sal.It's off the coast of Africa.Looks fantastic.
THOMSON holidays should be sponsoring us,because no one has done a write-up of what it's like yet.
Got to train down to Gatwick,as it's early morning Monday flight,so no chance of a shuttle from Manchester.

For the summer, I'm going to visit relatives in Okinawa.
Then I'm going to study abroad in Greece.
Btw, I don't tan.
At the moment, I'm of to Southwold (in Suffolk) for a week in May (finding long lost relatives and drinking lots of Adnams!), and I'll probably be going to Vegas in September (for a mate's wedding - yeah, I know!)...
Hopefully, I'll also get to go somewhere else at the end of the year, but that depends...
Was in Sveden last week, and have trips booked up for Belgrade, Dublin, Munich, Cyprus and Amsterdam. Some of those are with folks from here.
Also plan to get to Singapore and Boston (Bashtin) before the end of year.
Fancy Vegas too.
I dunno... somewhere stupid in the Autumn/Winter to watch a band i've seen loads of times probably.
Toronto with work second week of March,Florida with the family end of May and New York christmas shopping Nov. Got a stag weekend late summer but its not decided where yet, possibly Latvia?
paris next week.
pachacaed (nr st.tropez) in summer.
some talk of a trip to vegas for a mates 50th.
stokes bay for a day out.
all with children...
destiny unfolded.

China in May... nowt planned for the rest of the year yet.. but I wanna get away this Christmas... the last one at home was awful...
El Jarvo wrote:

I never knew you cared. ![]()
All I've got planned is a stag weekend to Malaga in March. Just back from Vegas 3 weeks ago though so cannae complain. Somewhere sunny, in Europe and with a nice beach would be nice for May/June.
Mrs Milky wrote: China in May... nowt planned for the rest of the year yet.. but I wanna get away this Christmas... the last one at home was awful...
I'm going to try and engineer Christmas away this year aswell..It is increasingly pissing me off this Christmas at home lark..
I bought a shit load of camping gear in the summer but still have'nt used it,so I plan to do a tour of Europe slumming it,if I can sell the idea to the family, who are a little too fucking pampered..
What I really want to do is a cattle drive across America, eating beans, drinking beer and smoking dope round a camp fire by night, but that's going to have to wait until the little ones grow up and bugger off and give me my life back :\ohwell:
Some of the single(lucky) lads at work are booked up for Vegas and the Dela Hoya/Mayweather fight.Cunts. Would give a testicle to be there :\ohwell:
I amy very well go and see Muse in Poland at the end of July. Get there while its cheap, thats what i understand.
Hopefully if I can raise the £ I'll be spending Xmas/New Year in Oz and New Zealand this year. I've got nearly a month off and should hopefully be better than my NYE this year!
Cheers!![]()
Backpacking and climbing in the boonies of the Philippines (leaving U.S. passport under the bed), hopefully topped off with a swim over to the Middle Kingdom to visit friends studying in Beijing.
Andorra this Sunday, Passo Tonale in Italy 3 weeks on Sunday (both Snowboarding trips), Berlin for my 30th at the end of March.
If i manage to get another job by the end of August (thereby resetting my holiday entiltlement) 2 weeks driving up the Croatian coast from Dubrovnik to Slovenia :)
There will definitely be no vacations this year. I just changed my job recently and you have to work one year to be allowed to have vacations. That's how things work in Brazil. ![]()
A trip to the land of the Mancs this summer...
we're looking at possibly doing a cruise...
maybe a trip to Barazil to keep Ricardo company until he has earned some holidays!!!
Meh, it's D.C. this summer for me and my family. Just gotta make sure I'm loaded full of music to stay sane. That and a kamikaze-load of batteries. The c.d. player's gonna need that.
Otherwise, if NO tours ANYWHERE near my humble hometown, I'm there. And I don't care how either! ![]()
I have no idea at this point........I think I have five weeks of vacation for this year..........haven't been to Vegas in a few years, maybe it's time to go back there.

Barca for 3 nights next week. Might be off to Noo Yoik in the summer, unless Athens crops up.
We poured all our money into this new house of ours this past year, so....to the back yard, maybe?

Where in the hell do you find a cattle drive here nowadays? They usually just ship the cattle in trains. But the rest of it (beans, beer, dope) sounds lovely.....
The main highway by my house used to be the Chisholm Trail, but there's only asshole drivers on it now, no cattle...

If not, I will probably plan for Derby Day at Old Trafford next season (hopefully in October so it's not SUPER cold)

Brilliant idea for a thread, Nic - find out where everyone is going so you can avoid them by going somewhere else!
I'll be spending in ages in Amsterdam over the next few months - working and then going for a long weekend with the Chems.
I might be going to Florida at Christmas, will have to see.
Other than that, my life is one long holiday - hanging out at airports, living out of a holdall...

Yep - driving was brutal on Thursday. Snow, freezing rain, more snow. I'm about a 40min drive from Toronto. It's much nicer today, a balmy -3C (tee-hee). It's supposed to go up to +3C by Thursday. Watch out for falling ice:Police Shut Part Of Gardiner Over Falling Ice Fears
Honestly, it's not always so cold over here - it can get quite toasty in the summer.

The convention centre is right underneath the CN tower - there's a "skywalk" between its two parts and it was like that scene in The Day After Tomorrow where the giant hailstones start falling...![]()

Toying with the idea of a US tour at the moment for September, we'd go to New York, Boston, Chicago, Nashville, Vegas, LA and San Francisco (and of course to catch up with some of the guys from here who live in those places). It's either that or Australia for a couple of weeks, and maybe the Caribbean in the New Year once everyone's come back after Christmas and the prices get down to normal again.
