I met a guy that sparred with him. He was a semi-pro boxer and a big lad to boot. Eubank had recruited every semi-pro he could find in Manchester to try to knock fcuk out of him after a long training session. All he did was weave and block - nobody got near him - made me realise how many leagues above mortals these heavyweights are.
I think he's a good laugh too - what's wrong with nipping out for the milk in a Peterbilt?
He doesn't give a fuck either. I remember a brilliant interview in Loaded where he took the journo through Brighton in his truck. He was saying how much the people of Brighton love him because he's an original and brings a little bit of happiness to everyone's life as the residents of Brighton made wank signs and screamed abuse.
Good on yer, Cwith
I like him.An interesting individual as a person.
And quite possibly the best chin in boxing ever.
I bought 'At home with the Eubanks' from the pound shop for a quid, read his autobiography and all that caper...
He is now so far removed from his impovrished delinquent youth it's unbelieveable. He seems to be basically a good man though, which is what counts.Helped alot of charities..Totally outclassed by a young Joe Calzaghe in the ring, but otherwise truley hard is Cwith.
