Just got a box set of New Avengers DVD's. Being a kid at the time, I always assumed my Dad's enthusiasm to watch it with me was for the clever script and brilliantly filmed action sequences.

I realise now it was the Purdey's blouse low-cutness to see-throughness ratio that swayed him.

Well I was raised on Joanna's Purdy. but I must confess Mrs Peel is far more my kinda girl.

If only Lady Penelope Creighton Ward wasn't a puppet, even Emma would be blown out :D

It was Erin Gray is was on about. Cant find any decent pic though? She was Wilma in Buck Rogers.
