Just got a box set of New Avengers DVD's. Being a kid at the time, I always assumed my Dad's enthusiasm to watch it with me was for the clever script and brilliantly filmed action sequences.
I realise now it was the Purdey's blouse low-cutness to see-throughness ratio that swayed him.
Joanna Lumley? I can think of better 70's TV sex symbols than her! In fact i'll find who im thinking of then post the pic before it gets messy!

Watched Thunderbirds for the 1st time in absolutely years about 18 months ago. I never realised just how hot Lady Penelope is..........
