The Mean Fiddler Latitude Festival, Henham Park estate near Southwold.

12th - 15th July.

Arcade Fire are headlining, but I've never heard of them.

I do like getting out of my box in a field though and my mate and my little sis both live quite near.

Anyone been? Going this year?

I had guestlist last year but couldnt be bothered going.

Apparently, it didnt sell well at all and was half empty.

I think 'Rock Ness' looks the best line-up thus far - Chemicals and Daft Punk.

Defo the best name anyways.

EDIT: I think Summercase is on same weekend as that Latitude thing. Defo worth considering again (though keeping to just the ONE site this time!)

There are far too many festivals nowdays, and the end result being bands are spread too thinly across them.

Hence the likes of Arctic Monkeys are "headline" acts.

Very tempted by that

I'm thinking about it too, soooperb city. ATR and JG have both made independent noises to me about it this week.

Got a busy June/ly though, will have to see how it pans out.

I agree!

Last one I went to was the Harvest. 'Bout 10 years ago - had to plough to the front.......but, on a plus......plenty of seed to go 'round.

No. I am just stating the fact.

It had a reasonably good line up; Kloot, British Sea Power, The Pipettes, Mystery Jets, Regina Spektor, Field Music, Mumm-Ra, The Longcut, Captain, The Zutons, Mogwai.

Problem is, not only is it in the middle of nowhere. Its in the middle of nowhere down south.

I was referring to your 'half empty' comment!

You know, as opposed to half full...
