White people = Lithuainians, Poles, Scots (alledgedly?) and Latvians. As Obi Wan put it, "You'll never find a place more of scum and villany".

Didn't we talk about this the other week? I thought it was Liverpool, then down South, then up North.

If I'm honest I still don't know where it is

He's English, there's only one country with a worse grasp of geography, and you're sitting in it.

Corby does have Rockingham, which is a plus, because apart from that, it's only other claim to fame is that it's the largest town in europe with no railway station....but one is on the way, leaving it famous for fuck all :D

Dunno but the nicest I ever had were consumed on a church step in Ottley, that'd be yawk shy er

Apparently Corby's over-run by jocks cos they all came down to get jobs on the steel, and presumably stayed for the women.

i read something about signs in Asda in Corby being in Gaelic or something to maintain the town's scottish heritage.

mind you if i didn't read that article about 6 months ago I wouldn't have known where corby was either.

From www.idler.co.uk

A depressing series of roundabouts links an A road. Surrounding the road is a dismal mid 1970s shopping centre from the fuck you school of architecture. The only saving race of this windowless concrete block is that that is melts into the slate grey skies that Corby always seems to have and almost disappears. Along the A road is a sprawl of Eastern European looking housing estates.

Corby still makes steel but not as much as it used to. A few years back British Steel conned a lot Scots from Ravenscraig to come down and make steel as their own works were to be closed. This was another false dawn and with their resulting redundancy money many set up taxicab firms presumably specialising on finding ways out of Corby. Thus you see no buses. And you are constantly being cut up by other drivers.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corby

Two ther nuggets from Wikipedia

TV Presenter Johnny Vaughan was a life-guard at the local swimming baths whilst attending the nearby Uppingham Public School.

Rapist Daniel Finlayson resided in Corby after being freed.

Corby's a shitehole, but it's our shitehole

As for that daft fuckin report that was in the Daily Mail, it was written by a TORY with less than two brain cells to rub together, trying to incite the right wingers who keep a low key in this town for their own safety. The report basically said that the town is full of White, thick as fuck and racist half-wits. She wouldnae last 5 minutes if she ventured here again.

It used to be 60/40 in favour of the Engerlish over the Scots (and Irish/Welsh), these days there are literally thousands of Serbs, Poles, Bulgarians etc... who are here for work in the Factory estates of Corby......and there are fucking loads of factories in Corby.

And anyone who is brave enough to slag down this town, I openly invite ye's fer a night out on the piss with me :viking: :D

Yep,sounds good to me.Shall we begin our piss-fest at Corby's top night spot..... The Flailing Fist.

Oh the irony of it all. Having my home town slated by a load of Stig of the Dump types themselves. Peasants! :evil4:
