Bit bent by imageshack cos it was a widescreen aspect, but still, what do you reckon?

Would offer the altered Brotherdood cover for you to DL yourselves, but it's not altered at all, it's just a runtime colour layering effect that KDE allows.

Hehe, I HATE bright desktops, they givfe ME a headache. I sometimes think half the reason I use Linux is just that it's easier to set up a "light text on dark background" theme and have it actually work.

Imageshcak has beaten a lot of the detail out of it, at this end, the specular highlights look really 3d....AND you can clearly see that Larry is saying "Moo Order??"

On another forum that I frequent someone posted a picture of their desktop. Unfortunately for them, they forgot to move / hide the 'Shemale Movies' folder before doing so...

The resultant hilarity lasted seventeen pages.

I remembered to move "Gay Badgers do tranny midgets in dung.iso" off the desktop ;)

Mind you, I think BCD showing is embarrassing enough :D

Ahhh, Nool's hatred of whitespace has rendered Larry the cow something of a hamburger.

Bugger.

Hmmm, nice wallpaper. I have the penguins doing the "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" gig , but perhaps a New Order wallpaper is in Order...

Never been one for rude wallpaper, don't see the point.

The only downside with my rather nice current one ( on laptop, the desktop linux and windows boxes are called hal9000 and sal9000 and have wallpapers to match....and actually the laptop, called Orac, has a pic of it's namesake in windows) Is that I can't run xpenguins with it. because there's active filtering going on, it counts as beinga program running in the root window, and it therefor won't show me 50 mental penguins skateboarding round my desktop on demand. ah well.

It isn't all that rude really, but it is just form me. :)

Then again I hardly ever see it as I usually have something else open.

so clearly you did not have the 50 penguins skiing around in christmas garb on your wallpaper during christmas time?

You've missed out!

Well I did, but that was on my desktop machine where I use windowmaker. I plumped for KDE on the laptop so mortal winlusers would stand some hope of not brain haemoraging. Now I COULD spend 30 seconds typing "google:xpenguins under KDE" into opera or Konqueror, but, I'm far too lazy

PS: ARRRRGHHH, Xmas 2007 is cancelled, chuffin xsnow doesnae work in KDE either. Time to search Gentoo's forums in panic I think. (they are ten times as useful but twice as hard to beat an answer out of than the MS knowlegebase)
