Anyone seen this? It's fucking awful. Normally I can get some pleasure out of even the worst movie, but this is just nightmarishly bad. And normally I really like Nic Cage. And comic book movies.

Even Eva Mendes' spectacular cleavage failed to move me.

That bad.

Er, nope.

But in a similar vein sought shelter from the rain in the Camden Odeon (or whatever it is) on Sunday.

Only film about to start was the Good Shepherd.

It's about the CIA. It's got lots of stars. It's directed by De Niro.

Longest three fcuking hours of my life. (I didn't even realise it was a 3hr job when I settled down).

And, boy, is Matt Damon a monosyllabic grump in it.

Half the audience had left before the end.

i saw it on sat, aye utter shite. a slow start and when he first turned into the ghost rider i was fairly hopeful it would pick up with him ripping up the road and cars blowing up etc,

then the second time he's in action only 2 letters on a sign blow up, how can you go from utter street carnage to a G & A blowing up on a garage sign. fuck me i could rant all day about how shit this film was and at the cost of $120m to produce something seriously has gone wrong.

maybe it was a visual joke/ metaphor - it left the letters "rage" after all...

Thats a good point i never thought of that. it was still shit though they could've blown the whole building up and left the letters rage on the floor that would've been good.

Damn! I was looking forward to this movie too. I like Ghost Rider as a kid. Sounds as bad as the Punisher? Such potential for these films. The story is laid out before them, how the hell can they screw these things up so badly?

Not down my way yet-- was hoping it would be sort of like the Daredevil film, but won't be surprised if it's a load of cack... Sad if it is as Nic Cage is a big GR fan-- he even has a GR tattoo!
