but Curtley and Courtenay just knocked teams over for fun. Win the toss, bowl, win. And more often than not, it work.

What about Sir Richard Hadlee?

Thats a fine bowling line up there though. But i think Ambrose and Walsh were better individual bowlers just because it was always them too who took the wickets when West Indian Cricket was in decline.

i agree. the team was in freefall anyway when they packed in. but in the early to mid 80's everyone chipped in with wickets.

most frightening sight had to be Joel Garners yorker. I've seen him totally skittle many glorious batsman. unplayable.

or marshalls bouncer.

Also worthy of mention i'm sure you'll agree, were Wasim and Waqar. Shame they stayed on too long and tarnished their legacy...

In the Lancashire League,arguably the best amateur league in the world, we've had Lillee, Holding, Warne and Donald to name few. A mate who faced up to 3 balls from Donald before being bowled said he couldn't see the feckin' ball!

accrington sacked warne as the pro because he couldn't bat!!.he drank well at lar de dars though,have to be bat and ball equal to make it in lancs league :nod:
