Open'er festival

as every year, every summer it is taking place in Gdynia, Poland, sponsored by Heineken (erm who cares). The bands confirmed:

1. muse
2. bjork
3. beastie boys
4. the roots
5. lcd sounsystem
6. bloc party
7. and finaly sonic youth They negotiate to get Pixies also. I think I shoul be there, at least for 1 day.

That sounds awesome! Especially 1-3, 7 & the Pixies.

This is one I would definitely consider too, better than most of the other line-ups I've seen so far.

Can the people of Poland actually afford to go to these festivals? We've got about 500,000 northern souls working here in the UK because (im led to believe) the wages are so poor over there, about £2 an hour. Is that true?

yes we can afford, the wages are poor but not for everybody, not in every place, not for every job. Just like in other places on this planet.
