Anybody catch "The Most Hated Family in America" on BBC2 last night? Louis definitely struck gold once again with that bunch of religious/fag hating maniacs. Best bit had to be when Louis tried to ask the old Pastor git who founded the movement a few questions and he got quite arsey in his (non)response... a bit reminiscent of the Michael Moore/Charlton Heston confrontation a few years ago.

Also classic was when Louis asked one of the small children carrying a hate placard if they knew what the message meant. The mother waded in and tried to get her child to give the "correct" answer: "What are you if you're a fag?" and the wee boy responds "A dyke?" :laugh: Hilarious but very disturbing at the same time.

Must look out my Theroux Weird Weekends DVDs and it's good to see him back on the telly

Yeah, I enjoyed that program last night, I think he's good at what he does. I saw most of the one where he went to Las Vegas as well. I wish I have seen more of his documentaries.

Top stuff from Mr Theroux, but that bunch were more 'Radio Rental' than his previous encounters with Jimmy Saville and Ann Widecombe :eek: Still it was good to see him on his 'good ol' US of A stomping ground and that pastor bloke was something out of the Texas Chainsaw Masacre LOL! :abovelol: Cheers!

Louis' facial expressions are brilliant. I really couldn't believe what I was seeing or hearing with that family though. I always enjoy his documentary's.

And what really pisses me off about Bush is telling Iran they can't have a Nuclear progamme, hows that work. America can have nukes and nobody else can.

Fcuking strange family. Not sure about the old boy at the top of the tree either. You see plenty of evangelists on the telly and most are quite charismatic and have huge personas, but he wasn't the most articulate of individuals, now was he?

The picketing of funerals has to be the lowest common denominator however. Doesn't matter what your feelings on any war are, to go round and picket the death of a soldier calling him a fag in front of his friends and family is purely abominable. Am amazed someone just didn't step out to take a swipe at them. Lowest of the low.

It's repeated late one night this week (can't remember which?) for anyone who missed it.

Their feelings on the war are incredible as well. From what I could gather they firmly believe that George W. Bush was "duped" into fighting in Iraq by God :skeptic: who is in turn punishing all the soldiers because they worship a country (USA) rather than erm... God himself.

I watched it. Only in America.!! The extent to which the poor children had been brainwashed was beyond belief. It was very sad seeing them picket the funeral of the killed GI though. There must have been a scandal associated with the old guy though - he's probably a fag himself!
