Luckily my place is designed to withstand wild whether. I didn't even have blackout, let alone any flooding.

I have excellent drainage. For a couple of months now we've had an almost daily thunderstorm, yet we still a in drought and the dams are only 40% full.

Mind you yesterday was indeed a good storm. Ordinarily it would have been my driving to Melbourne day. I'm almost glad i stayed at home this year.

Ah well the surprises keep coming. At least I think there isn't any food in rooms other than the kitchen and all the food processors etc are in the one place now.

Oh yes I found the blades for the electric knife in of all places the knife block.

NOOLigan now has Linux Mint. It looks really nice clean and easy. It will take a little while till I have it set up like I want to, bookmarks shortcuts etc, so I'm currently back on XP.

As you can see it didn't bugger my hard disk and it is dead easy to install, so go for it.

If Urbantu is Linux for dummies then Mint is for Idiots.
