Has this been posted before? From last years Complete Stone Roses gig at the Academy in Glasgow. I knew he was DJing at it but wasn't aware of what went on in the video below. An error of judgement on Sir Hooky's part I think...

Useless fact for today,

The Complete Stone Roses' bass players dad, was assistant manager for my footy team (under 11's)when i was a kid :thumb:

Thing that makes me laugh about this is that the singer is even flatter than Ian Brown! Talk about authenticity! He's a fookin' awful singer!

In fairness to Hooky, if you look at the crowd in the footage above, they're ten times more animated than the crowd was at the same venue when NO were playing. Must be a thrill to watch a (very) young crowd go mental to your tunes.

Wouldn't like to see him make a habit of it though. Some things have got to be kept sacred. Getting wheeled out to play along with a group of chancers in a Stone Roses tribute band is not a very NO thing to do is it?
