Continuing the trend for the return of certain 80's band,which recently had a thread on here I do recall,and I nominated this band......ladies and gentlemen..

Anywho, coolness that the 52's are up and at it again! Always loved 'Rock Lobster' and 'Private Idaho'. Always thought their early stuff just ROCKED.

Do they have any new stuff, what's it like?

They never split up, they were on tour last year,

and they've been on about a new album but can't get a record deal was the last i read.

I thought this would be a band that was actually interesting. "Love Shack" and "Rock Lobster" sound the same to me.

they're one of the reasons he got back to recording Double Fantasy, the female vocals reminded him of stuff Yoko had done years before. (so I've read).
