You didn't do this in the late 70s early 80s??
I stil have my skates somewhere.
Dear God, it's been years since I've gone on rollerskates. One time [back in my sophomore year of high school, and once upon a time when I was a Roman Catholic altargirl] I went rollerskating with one of my best friends. I fell on my left knee about a good 10 times [VERY painful!], all while having to deal with a DJ who was a total flirt with me and my good friend teasing me half to hell about it!
Next morning I had to help out in church, the Altargirl that I was. When it was time to kneel for communion, I first knelt on my right knee... and then I knelt down on my left knee... ![]()
Let's just say, the minute the knee touched the ground, I ran for the sacristy, then outside, and screamed--good Lord did that hurt!!!
Two words: Never. Again.

Rollerskates are fabulous! Make some poms to tie on the laces and you're set to go. *smile*
