The text from JG went something alomg the lines of
"If Liberace wheeled his big pink piano on from the side of the stage right now he'd be chased off for 'butching it up'" ![]()

Yes , that's about spot on.Notice i didn't name any of the Noolers who were there. Not sure on if they'd like to be , erm, outed
Lorraine and i went to the Wolves gig on Friday, seen Uncle Liam and ATR there.
Not a bad night, atmosphere was a bit flat i thought, it makes a change being able to stand at the front and drink yer beer without wearing it.
True, it was camper than a row of tents, Neil Tennant had more costume changes than Madonna ffs.
Lorraine drove like a maniac on the way home and we were able to catch the last 30 mins of Pig Champion in Sheepland. ![]()
I think they're rotten but a journo mate offered me the chance to accompany him to one of their shows in Edinburgh a few years ago that he had to review. I went along on the basis that "they always put on a great show...spectacular stage sets etc etc" only to discover it was their "stripped down" gig featuring zero costume changes, dancing girls or general poofery. I was most dissapointed.
Great gig - played all the hits and then some for 2 hours - you name it, they played it! :) ![]()
Good meet-up, too! ![]()

They never played Love Comes Quickly.
I was Disappointed. :D
Not bothered about any others but would love to see them live.

All of the above were given an airing Jemma.
No aggressive dancing apparent though, loads of room down the front fer roly-poly's and wrestling. ![]()

My brother managed to record some of it.
Will be making dvds to anyone who's interested
(send me a pm)
Shame the recording's spoilt by me singing over and shouting Chris's name ![]()
Just been to see them at Manchester Apollo. Fantastic as ever, thought the stage set was better at Summer Pops though, but minor quibble. Few additions from last year's set FLAMBOYANT,the Robbie-penned WE'RE THE PET SHOP BOYS and HEART! Got some fab photos I shall put 'em on as soon as. Waited for an hour at stage door with Julie to get my coveted PSB 51 Hacienda T-shirt signed, but alas saw Neil who signed a few bits and pieces for people at barrier to tour bus.But I didn't want to be taking my shirt off in such company.Know what I mean?
What a fucking top weekend.
London was very good. Special mention and thanks to Johnny, Maya and brother for the lift down.
London and Manchester were both excellent gigs. Camp as it gets but very entertaning. Got Ness in for £15, and would have been less if we'd had a £10 note between us.
Manchester was excessive. Me, Alex, Snoopy, Steve from Gabs wish, Andy Mac, and my mate Deano were all tanked. Snoopy clearly wasnt paying attention when Alex nicked his phone and 15 people found out something they didnt want or need to know.
Strangest moment of the gig was when taping duty was passed onto me so alex could... GO TO THE BAR!!!!! very surreal.
top set all 3 nights as well. The blast last night at the srat of Can You Forgive her? which made Chris Lowe jump was brilliant. Integral, Surbubia, Opportunies, Sodom and Gomorrah and especially Its a Sin sounded amazing every night.
Roll on next week in nottingham.

don't know what i find stranger there - that alex passed on the taping to you, or that he got a round in! ![]()
I'm hoping to catch them again later this year when they play in L.A. I saw them in Atlanta last year and thought that they put on a real good show and looking forward to seeing them again.
Psy
Can't believe I missed ya! Whereabouts were you?
Also forgot to mention one of the dancers from Sheffield did his high kick, and nearly took out Neil's teeth.![]()

He just said Alex went to the bar ... no mention of whether drinks were procured for other punters (I'd wager not!) ![]()
