Has to be said that the celeb version is far more interesting than the vanilla version 'cos what they do tends to have a bigger fallout afterwards (recent racism row etc).

After all, BB evicting people (rather than by public vote) has been a ratings booster ever since the "Nasty" Nick episode, so if someone attempts to - say - orally rape another contestant while they're asleep and THEN BB sends in the heavies to drag them out and hand 'em to the police, we are permitted the illicit voyeuristic thrills we're really after (and which C4 so desperately want to provide) whilst standing on the moral and ethical high-ground at the same time (alongside smug C4 executives, natch). A win-win situation, in other words.

I am speaking as somebody who has lost a parent not that long ago and she did keep her illness from me as long as she could.

I just hope that you are never put in a situation where some really important decisions in life are not left up to you.
Sorry her father may have thought it was in her best interest not to know, but I think it is not up to BB to make that choice for her. She should have been informed.

I'm looking at it from the perspective of an impartial observer but you seem to be taking a precious, almost personal stance on this.
I reckon as long as a person's dying wish isn't too barmy it should be respected. Who are BB - or in fact you - to trample over a father's last request? He presumably did this because he wanted his daughter to do well in the show and in a way, protect her. You and I may not agree with it but you can see where he was coming from.
Sorry her father may have thought it was in her best interest not to know, but I think it is not up to BB to make that choice for her. She should have been informed.
