i am bloody skint but will see them at glastonbury and worry about manchester m.e.n later.watched loads of arcade fire on youtube last night.the video of them doing improntu version of wake up amongst a small group of people packed on the stairs is great

Despite what people will say, mostly, that wasnt a very good gig. Full of wannabee intellectuals doing their one gig a year because it was recommended in the Grauniad. it just seemed that the majority of the audience talked their way through it and only payed attention during the two big first album singles.
those venues are faaar too big, just not interested at all in seeing them somewhere that big
