Saw them live last week and the new stuff just seems to be treading the same water,but who knows. The new single has grown on me after initially thought it was a bit boring.

I believe so, or so my mate told me today, i don't listen to The Bowman so can't really say but he says she rams it down everyones throats everyday on the radio.
Yes, been playing it a fair bit over the last week or so. Much like the first album my immediate thoughts were that i've heard it all before but for some reason i keep on listening.
There's something in most of the new songs i can warm to .Favourite track so far is Weight Of The World but the last track on the album 'Well Worn Hand' is definitely NOT for listening to if you are already depressed , jesus is that song depressing
I can't stand Edith Bowman !!! 
I went and bought it this afternoon, apart from the ist track nothing is standing out yet, give it a few days and it'll either be a stayer in the cd rotation or just stay on the shelf

Not as good as the first one, but maybe that'll change after a few listens.

I love (the?) Editors, the singers voice is very very sexy. Sorry, that's a total girls answer.
Bowman was nearly in tears when she introduced Editors set as her, and everyone elses, Glastonbury moment.
Surely this sort of nepotism...
...doesn't really matter a fuck in the real world.
Two things in Bowman's favour:
1 - I've seen a picture of her with nowt on and she's got nice tits.
2 - She's a million times less irritating that the other bint on Radio 1. The one who's name I have, mercifully, forgotten and will not be attempting to remember.

I didn't know they came out with a new one. I reviewed their first one for my school's newspaper, gave it a B. Not bad but not great, either, although better than She wants revenge and the Killers.

No real stand out tracks for me.
its not poor,thats a bit harsh.i know what you mean though and its fades later.not over keen on the single 'smokers' really,then again the first maybe four tracks and then defo racing rats!! ( powerful and i love it) do grow after a while,and lets be honest its up there against some of the other gloryfied shite stuff around.nobody never really cracks your head up these days really ive found.maybe soon 
..editors are fairly good but very very good to see live
One of my fave Kitchens tracks Mark, and it was produced by Martin Hannett...
As for Editors - found it was definitely a grower, needed a few listens.
Agree that the album is a bit cack towards the end , Escape The Nest and Spiders are b sides at best
I find there are sections of some of the songs i like but not the overall song.Smokers isn't that impressive.The two tracks that do get thumbs up are Weight Of The World and Push Your Head Towards the Air
