Any The Cult fans out there? The Cult is my second all-time favorite artist (next to New Order, of course). Ian Astbury is my favorite vocalist, and for me, has the most powerful male rock vocals.

My favorite album is Electric. Next is Sonic Temple, which has one of my favorite album covers of all-time.

I loved The Cult in the late 80s..got into them either just before or the same time as New Order..She Sells Sanctuary is amazing!!

"She Sells Sanctuary" for me too - fooking classic tune - student staple as well of course. Not quite as godlike as anything the Bunnymen ever produced or farted out of course, but it's bloody good enough. Not really that keen on their more bombastic later stuff although they were entertaining to watch around their "Electric" / "Love removal Machine" OTT phase.
