Don't let anybody give you any crap about working in foodservice. Working in fast food allowed me to get through college, fund two houses, as well as provide me the financial stability to open a restaurant and be my own boss. Best of luck with your job!

Nah... went into management under my own terms several years after starting and stuck with it for a while. Even after finishing college(business degree) I stayed because my salary and benefits were better than I could have hoped for. I was also working for some really good franchisees at the time who treated me more like family than an employee. Not a very glamourous job, but few are.

The interview went well, I have a 2nd interview on Thursday.

And it's thankfully a customer care/service job...so I wont be flipping burgers if I get it! Hurray!

Nope...greeting customers and tidying...they tried to make it sound important to me by saying customer care...but I had to ask what it was lol ah well! think of the money!

I worked as a courtesy clerk...that meant I bagged groceries and shagged carts...erm...make that collected carts....

it was glorious!!!

That was what used to be called Lobby Host... Meant you got a mop and a spray... :nod: And as, John says, 2nd interview... :confused2: I used to do interviews and if you turned up on the right day at the right time you were probably overqualified... :lol:

Good luck anyways... There are worse jobs to start with... :thumb:
