OUR LOVE TO ADMIRE.
Anyone bought it yet? Not as consistant as the other two,but love the single, and PIONEER TO THE FALLS which features shock horror...a trumpet! Oh MAMMOTH's good too. It just might be one of those that I need to play a few times.

I'll have to be sure to pick that up. I still think their first album's their best though.
But their new single sounds good so, I'll have to wait and see with this album.
The Heinrich Maneuver is the only song i`ve heard...in i like a lot...i just wait to listen to more songs of it.
Anyway i feel like to buy it
It's a bit better than I first thought, growing on me a bit. But it still feels really disjointed, a mixed bag of good tracks and immediately forgettable ones. A few of the slower tracks stand out as better ones, like the last few and the album closer with the nice Morricone vibe.
iit's a grower although there are a few weak track on there... Rest My Chemistry is constantly going through my head. I've been listening to the album in it's entirety once a night for the past week or so. Great to listen to while shutting down the bar.
I like "Antics" best so far, but I'll buy the new album as well. I hope it is as good as the other two works...
antics was ok. got it too.
but i can't be arsed anymore with this band. they're not that good. so won't get it.
Is it out yet?
Gee, what's the point of registering to their fookin website if they don't send out newsletter about such things.
I'll go pick it up tonight.
Took me a while to love their 2nd album, and I just bought the first one last may (I had it in mp3 for years).
Why the fuck aren't they playing Paris?! Only heard The Heinrich Maneuver so far.
How are things on the West Coast?
Antics is good but TOTBL is better. I wonder if they're going to top Say Hello To The Angels or The Specialist.
It is very different to there other two album first couple of listening:s I was not impressed at all this album is a grower - I originally hated the last few tracks but they are growing on me - this may be there best work yet!!
Well the album is nice (I still prefer "Antics"), but I confess the Editors did a better job this time. I think the two bands are very very similar...
Read alot of reveiws for this album and it seems that the magazines are hating it....haven't downloaded it because of all the negativity around the album......
Really, really, really sounds like Interpol without the distraction of rocking out or having a groove thing. They have the copyrighted sound identity thing down like U2 or Radiohead... should be popular with the white kids. Is it good? I dunno, but my initial impression is to stop listening to this record and switch to something else.
Enough with the Joy Division comparisons by now... have these people who say this ever even listened to Joy Division? The lyrical style is so totally opposite and the rhythm aspect has been so put in the background with this new record.
Am I the only one who saw the New Order link?
Rich Costey produced this album, he's the one who edited "Waiting For The Sirens' Call" (single version)
