"In Our Angelhood" come up on random on the iPod this morning. Not heard that in ages, and forgot what a good tune that was.

Bit Goffic though, for the Cocteaus. :eek3:

Wasn't it Liz,Robin and someone from the Tindersticks?

Song To The Siren was by someone called This Mortal Coil. It was taken from an album called It'll All End In Tears. Pretty sure Pete Shelley turns up somewhere but the album was in general pretty crap.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: look beyond the airy-fairy titles and ALL the songs are about filthy sex.

"Pearly-Dewdrops Drops" - Liz's hymn to Robin's fountains of ejaculatory delight.

"Aikea Guinea" - about having a Guinuea Pig up yer bumhole.

"Whales' Tails" - about being hung like a FUCKING WHALE.

"Wax and Wane" - about having sex whilst menstruating.

"Ivo" - about shagging the former boss of 4AD.

"Carolyn's Fingers" - what do YOU think?

I could go on......

THIS MORTAL COIL was a collaboration of artists off the 4AD label.IT'LL END IN TEARS featured Liz and Robin on SIRENS and ANOTHER DAY,Robin and Simon do an instrumental,Howard Devoto and Lisa Gerrard (Dead Can Dance) feature on there too. Patchy album but still good nonetheless.:thumb:
