fake dump with sanitized rubbish.
BOllox to that.
Filmed at CHEZ CAMBO?
I heard about this some time ago. My mate is good friends with the guy that came up with the idea. Or produced it. Or something. Maybe he just rakes through the rubbish on the dump before they switch the cameras on, I can't remember. But anyway, my mate, right: he knows someone who's involved.
The blonde model has a brilliant mole on her top lip. I saw her on Richard and Judy when I was wagging it from work the other day. She managed to set up a sauna and a nail bar using stuff she found on the tip.
There was a gay guy and a really right-on recycler woman on too, but I can't remember much about them.
(Edit: They were trying to make the point that it's a shame how much good stuff ends up in the bin, and both claimed that they had changed their opinion of bins and expected other people to do the same when they see the programme... )
Anyway Jem, rubbish: good one ![]()

Am I glad that the reality tv in french-canada was limited to 4 shows only (loft story (big brother clone), bachelor, star academy (pop idol, but with daily follow-up) and something vaguely based on a mix of bachelor and loft-story)
This is getting too far.
Who the hell watches that anyways?
I mean, I like Survivor because it's a strategic game, but now, what's the point?

Loft Story?!?
do they live in a roof or something?
Another reality TV show. Ho hum. Disappointing really, on the whole. I mean, when are they going to do one inviting the public to scrape several thousand barrels - and get filmed and paid doing so? How can they overlook such an obvious idea?
Besides, whats with that strange androgynous / transexual / dubiously oriented person Aaron? He [she?] has a boys name but talks and acts like a girl, and has male stubble but no tits, and yet looks VERY strange ...... and as for that annoying whingebag Jermaine (the footballer). what a fucking prima donna - picking arguments just for the sake of it and being so continuously annoying and confrontational I am at a loss to understand why the others havent already battered him to death and buried him amongst the landfill contents. Hes even admitted hes just there for the money - so that alone should have guaranteed he got booted off straight away..... what gives?

who watches that shite anyway? the only one worth watcing is "get me outa here" if only to see some poor cunt eat a kangas bollock. hehe.
Newsflash: It's cheap telly and it makes money 'cos loads of people watch it.
More people watch this kind of thing than watch the news and worthy music telly. The licensing agreements between the Government and the terrestrrial channels oblige providers to ensure that a certain percentage of their output is of a certain quality and covers a range of subject matters. How they fill the rest of the day is up to them. So if you don't like it, don't winge about it on here - get in touch with your MP and ask him to increase the levels of telly that you think should be shown. But don't expect anything to change until the percentage of the population who lap up this cheap-format product, however much is thrown at them, starts to make the format non-profitable. I'm sure the people making the telly would prefer to be making other things, but they have to balance this against actually getting their product sold. I'll tell you what, I'll get an email address of the guy that made this one and ask him that very question: Is this what you WANTED to do, or do market forces have something to do with it?
I've not seen this show and have neither the time or the inclination to do so. It seems at least to have come up with something a little different to the usual 'put people in a room and see whether they shag or say paki' "idea", and furthermore introduces concepts like social responsibility and management of waste in the viewers' wikkle minds.

If that's the guy I saw on Richard on Judy, I share your concerns.
Perhaps a spin-off should be considered. "Gender Allignment": They get him to make his fucking mind up what he wants to be, and then finish the job with some televised surgery or make up or whatever.
I'll mention that in the email to the guy that made Dumped. If we win £40 I'll split it with you ![]()
Arf.
Can I have his email address then?
I'm sure he won't mind anwering a few questions for us.
I asked him to come with us next weekend, but he can't.
He turned down all of my ideas for a reality show, and came up with this. Mind you thats a good thing, mine wasn't right.

gives me an idea - 'Up On The Roof' = 'contestants' have to live on a roof (they'll probably make it a namby-pamby flat roof, but I'd prefer at least a good 30 degree slant - to make it more interesting in the rain), doing the usual stupid tasks etc, while we the public can all throw crap at them (if we can throw far enough). Last one standing wins £40 of course.
you know, I think this one could be a winner - you heard it here first folks!

That's a shame. Next time I'm in Liverpool with him, I'm gonna take a video camera and film what happens. THAT would be good telly ![]()
I also wish to point out that Royser's idea for a reality show was the best one I've heard.
