I just witnessed Jerry Lewis singing You'll Never Walk Alone...

wasn't nearly as good as the crowds at Parkhead or Anfield....

I need a beer...

Would you prefer he sang "Milkshake"?

Check this out - a Facebook group called "Fans of Modest Mouse Who Hate the Newest Album"

Information Group Info Name: Fans of Modest Mouse Who Hate the Newest Album Type: Music - Indie Description: This group is for:

  1. Anybody who loved Modest Mouse before they made that piece of shit.
  2. Anybody who loved Isaac Brock for being a crazy drunk before he declared himself a crazy drunk.
  3. Anybody who will join a group of people who wish to boycott forever "Good News..." or "We Were Dead..."
  4. Anybody who taught themself to lisp like Isaac Brock, only to be disappointed when he stopped lisping

This is not a group for people who don't like Modest Mouse, but rather a group for people who wish they just would not have released "Good News For People Who Like Bad News" or "We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank".

Recent News i guess this group did not dissolve with the release of "we were... even sank" so maybe there are some dissatisfied fans, huh? but if you want to go on a tirade on the wall, go ahead.

Matt Silver (JMU) wrote at 8:24am on August 17th, 2007 The new album does suck the first couple times through. But after hearing it live at their concert it was so much better. I gave it another listen on my ipod and it starts to grow on you. You can't deny that musically it's pretty solid, the lyrics just need a little work, a little too repepitive and pop sounding, but I guess that happens to most all indie bands when they get famous.

Pierre Martin (Hong Kong) wrote at 8:04am on June 22nd, 2007 And so? What's your point John Goodson? Modest Mouse has come to sound like the Shins and it is sad. That's mine. Message - Report

Tom Spehar (Gustavus) wrote at 5:07pm on June 21st, 2007 last nite i heard gravity rides everything for the first time in a long while and i had forgotten how great of a song it is Message - Report

John Goodson (UGA) wrote at 9:39pm on June 16th, 2007 Pierre Martin the reason the chorus sounds like the Shins is because the singer of the Shins did the guest vocals on it. durkah durkah dumbass Message - Report

Thomas S. Meduri (no network) wrote at 6:55pm on June 12th, 2007 I joined this group just to say what i posted about the people underneath me on the group's wall. I'm about to leave the group because a lot of the people here are ignorant assholes. So its cool, keep on bitching about shit you can't change anyway. Good day fuckers! Report

Tom Spehar (Gustavus) wrote at 5:47pm on June 10th, 2007 thomas s. meduri, i think the point of this group is to say that we don't want to listen to that shit. and i don't get what you're all saying about still finding something to bitch about. i've listened to their seven studio albums and one live album many many times and they are all great.

a littlehumor...i thought this morning with if you could picture george bush doing a speech and youknow how david icke goes on about illuminati...bush is doing a speech and the camera hones in and there's a lizard tail wagging back and forth out of his nose. the looks on the faces of the people in the crowd as he stutters and laughs....imagine that....

now you are scarred for life.:)

To even START watching that telethon you should have had a few beers. Yikes!

Oh, I didn't watch much of it at all...I was flipping through the channels, looking for something to watch, I got the the show and had to stop...I could have sworn Jerry Lewis was dead...so I just had to see what was going on...it was at the very end, and upon further review, it appears he ends the telethon with said song every year...

The things I've learned the last two days!

The man is pickled beyond belief. Was he mean to people? I've heard he's gone from being pretty easy going to harassing people for money.

Joe Pesci rapping is even worse. It's so bad that when I typed his name in the YouTube search engine that I only read the title and the clip summary, but didn't bother to watch it. Click on the clip at your own risk. :explode:

Speaking of bad covers, Fall Out Boy's version of LWTUA have scarred me for life. And also this...

The title says it all.

Instead of Joe Pesci shooting somebody, the audience would rather shoot themselves for watching this crap. :ignore:
