i'm dj'ing with daniel ash, we expect a lot of old school goths. what would you play?

the banshees - yes the birthday party - nice! thanks! that first new order album that nobody likes - people actually request dreams never end a lot. clan of xymox - forgot about this band, have to get the orginal versions instead of the re-recorded ones from a few years back.

that whole album is full of good goth shit! Senses kicks some ass, as does Denial, Truth, etc. Doubts Even Here is probably the gothest one of the bunch, but not too dancable--unless you use Logan's remix of it! (I can send you it.)

My first ever gig was the Neff at Downham Tavern in Bromley c.1986. We all had to chuck flour at them for some reason, as well as dance on one leg.

bet the cleaner was made up the next mornin.
If it's a dance party then some dance choons (but do goths dance??). In this case hard stuff from Bauhaus, early New Order, Joy Division, the early Cure, Depeche Mode, Front 242, Clan of Xymox, Suzy Sioux, Spamdau Ballet, Deutsche-Amerikanische Freundschaft. No Americans, mind you
