We made up about 10 cents in the last few months as well. Our $ is about 85 cents now compared to 50 cents about five years back. Now if I could only save some money for that trip.

cheers for the truth. just cancelled the flight. Christmas in Belfast again then. Hope that outdoor ice-rink near the shops is still there. I'll think of New York. :)
with rates like this i might be inclined to blow a few dollars more when i hit vegas next month,then maybe i could afford the box st.

Already sorted son, First week in december £802 each. Business class with BA, transfers from JFK, and 5 nights in the Plaza on 5th Ave/Central Park.
Been twicw before, get yourself up to Woodbury Common for some decent shopping, 5th Ave shops are great but fuckin expensive, have a look at Tiffanys...

I'm talking comparatively. Rest of America is piss-cheap compared to the Big Apple. You see the prices rocket as soon as you hit Manhattan.
