Have most of the new songs (recorded live) - sound pretty good to me. :thumb:

So we can expect a 'pay what you like' download in 10 days, a special edition in December and a 'normal' version in 2008?

Looks like a good move, no record companies involved.

Would there be a way of just getting the normal cd and bonus tracks in December. Not really arsed about the Vinyl or paying 40 quid for it.

It will be, only you have to wait until next year. They're currently negotiating with several record companies for a new deal - so expect it to be in the shops early 2008 (in a proper 1-CD version that is.....)

really who needs record companies. hire a sound engineer and a web master.

great band, nice to see them doing something different with a release. Like this quote from NME.com

" Aaron Wood, Edinurgh: "I'm putting forth £10. This move is both insane and genius! It could make Factory Records losing money on every copy of 'Blue Monday' look like a brilliant business plan." "

I wouldn't pay tuppence for it!

i've ordered the box set too - only available on pre order, being made to order... what's not to love about that?

mind you they're one of the most disappointing live bands i've seen (though support bands were sigur ros & beck last couple of times so not all bad)

Probably one of best live bands i've seen

I do prefer their live stuff though especially material from Kid A

Agreed.

Anyone who's heard them live more than once would tell you they're top of their game. Kid A stuff more than anything else, National Anthem is a corker!
