Tonights gig in Middlesbrough was evacuated after only two songs after the fire alarms were set off. After a short amount of time, the gig resumed but lasted a mere further four songs before everyone was once again thrown out...

No Roses tracks played either... :nonono:

I remember The Exploited's concert was cut in the same manner - someone either called about a bomb or fire, anyway after just 2 songs everybody was kicked out the concert hall.

Cheeky boy:laugh: , Chems @ Roundhouse syndrome eh Al!! but, i found it funny that a similar thing happened 18 months up @ Toon' Academy when the bouncy floor gave way. (And no- Digi Mike hadn't invited Fat Bob)

Really enjoyed the Mondays there last night an'all. Shaun Ryder's looking better than he has done for a long while.

Seen him in Dundee last night.

Band were good, including Andy Rourke. Singing was terrible (I knew what to expect and sometimes it's okay). Setlist was good. 3 Roses songs- I wanna be adored, IATR, and Fools Gold.

A bit disappointed all in all, despite the bagpipes on stage at the start.

:\ohwell:

Super Furry animals in Glasgow next for me.......

Yup I was there..and got to meet the man and shake his hand as he says to me "arrite lad" before being mobbed by a gaggle of dampladybits bunch of lasses(him not me,sadly) - he was using the same Fire Exit as me on the first of two Fire alarm, clear the gaffs..So every shower of shit has a silver lining..Total fuck up mind. Some Roses were on the way,as I got a butchers at the setlist.Infact the plug was pulled during 'Keep what you got' with 'Resurection' next up..Gig is re-scheduled for November 24th and free to all ticket stubberdubber keepers, which will be nice if I can get a babysitter  If not fuck him the scruffy twat.(I love him, in reality ) And he has thee softest leather jacket ever, does our Ian! Beautiful.

Edit: It appeared that Ian had a fall out with Andy Rourke, who was on bass mid-gig, as Rourke unceremonesly fucked off after words were exchanged between the pair..I wanted them to ave it so I could see Ian's Kung-fu at close quarters.I think Rourke might have bottled it when wax-on, wax-offs looked likely

Love him on record but after VERSUS CANCER,don't think I'll be in a rush to see him live. So how he can take the piss out of KYLIE being at Q Awards for being "shite"...(Adopting Peter Kay/Max voice) "HOW DARE YOU ...HOW DARE YOU"
